I think Kaleigh hasn't been suggested because it is possible/likely to be pronounced like Callie (instead of Kay-lee), which I believe is not the OP's intent. Some people go to extremes though, with the names.

I'm going to vote for Kayleigh because I do think that it's visually prettier, goes better with Loralei, and with all the names ending in "leigh" that have popped up over the last few years, I think that it will be much more familiar to people than it would have been even a decade ago.

Speaking as a Kacie, I can tell you that yes, a name like this will be mispelled. My husband and I are expecting our second girl in the spring, and we can't agree on how to spell her name. Kaylee (or however it is spelled) is a completly made up name that got into style somehow. There are tons of very respectable, traditional names out there that end in -ie (Marie, Stephanie, Sophie, Julie, Valerie, Marjorie), which I cannot say about -ee.

All the Kaylee's I've ever met had struggles with spelling things out for people. It's a little hard for me to be constructive here because to be perfectly honest, I don't care for the name in any spelling and find it sounds & looks childish either way.

Would you consider Kayla, Kira, or Kara? Keela, on the other hand, comes from the Gaelic word ‘cadhla’ which means a girl “so beautiful that only poets can describe her.” (i.e., a rare beauty). There are so many spelling options for Kaylie/Kayleigh/Kaylee/Kayley that no matter which you choose, you will be constantly clarifying the spelling, so if that is a concern for you, I would strongly recommend looking into other names.

I have nothing against the name Kaylee/Kayleigh, it's a beautiful name that I actually really like :) But Kaylee is the most common spelling, so you should go with that.
